Do you talk kindly to yourself when no one else is around?

Before you try to change your body image, you need to take a look at your inner critic. You can change your appearance in many ways, but if the voice inside you keeps judging and criticizing, those changes won’t last. That voice will always pull you back into the same feelings of not being good enough.

Our inner critic usually begins in early childhood. It’s shaped by the way we were spoken to, treated, or made to feel. Over time, it becomes a voice we hear in everything we do how we see ourselves, how we carry ourselves, and even how we feel when no one else is around.

If we aren’t happy with who we are inside, no amount of outside change will bring peace. True healing and self-love start within. When we heal the part of us that doesn’t feel good enough, everything on the outside begins to shift naturally.

So before trying to change how you look, take time to heal how you feel. That’s where real transformation begins.

With love,
Christine
