From anxiety to calm: what happens in a session
I had a second session today with a new client, and I want to share her experience because it may help you understand what is possible.
When she first came to me, her nervous system was not regulated. She was constantly in a state of anxiety. Her heart was racing, she felt panicked, and she could not find calm in her body.
Today, she told me that feeling was gone.
She said she now feels calm, grounded, and more like herself. She was surprised and asked me what had changed and what I had done during the session.
In my sessions, I take a moment to connect and tune into the body. I move through each chakra and feel where there may be blockages. These blocks can come from past experiences, emotions, or trauma that has not been released.
As I connect, I can feel where the energy is stuck and where it is coming from. I guide the client through it by sharing what I am sensing, and together we begin to release what is no longer needed.
In her first session, we were able to identify where the blocks were and begin clearing them. She felt the shift after that.
In today’s session, because she was already more regulated and calm, we were able to go deeper. We explored what else was ready to be released.
After the session, she felt even more grounded and in control of herself. She shared that she had already started making small changes in her life. At home and at work, she was showing up differently, with more clarity and confidence.
This is what happens when your nervous system is regulated. You begin to feel safe in your body. You start making decisions from a calm place instead of fear.
It is always very special for me to witness these shifts. To see someone go from feeling overwhelmed and anxious to feeling calm, grounded, and in control is something I am truly grateful for.
If you have been feeling anxious, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself, it may be a sign that your body is holding onto more than it needs to. You do not have to carry it alone. Book a session and we can work through it together.
With love,
Christine
