What I tell every client about trauma healing
I want to talk about something very close to my heart, and something I support many clients through: trauma healing.
In my sessions, I often work with clients who come in for trauma release and energetic clearing. We explore where past pain may still be held in the body and energy centers. And one of the most common things I hear is:
“But I thought I already healed this.”
“I’ve done so much work around this.”
And I always gently remind them, trauma is not linear. Healing is not a checkbox we mark off.
Just because something doesn’t show up in your daily awareness doesn’t mean it’s fully gone. Sometimes, I can feel the residue of trauma in a client’s body even when their conscious mind believes it’s been resolved. This isn’t a setback, it’s a deeper invitation.
🌿 The Layers of Trauma
Think of trauma like layers of sediment that settle deep in the soul.
The top layers might hold more accessible emotions, sadness, anger, resentment. These are often the first to release.
But as we move deeper, we reach the buried core, the pain we’ve tried hardest to forget. The suffering we pushed down so far we may not even consciously remember it.
That doesn’t mean it’s not affecting us. That hidden pain can still block us from moving forward, whether in relationships, confidence, purpose, or inner peace.
🔄 Healing Isn’t Linear
Sometimes, when clients reach this deepest layer, it can feel like they’ve gone backwards. But this is not regression. This is evolution. You’re being brave enough to touch the wound you’ve avoided the longest.
And yes, it’s hard. But you don’t have to go through it alone.
In our sessions, I guide clients through the process of safely accessing and releasing that final, most deeply rooted part. And what comes after is nothing short of powerful:
✨ A feeling of lightness
✨ An internal shift
✨ A sense of freedom, often felt instantly in the body
Healing takes time. It takes patience. It takes courage. But if you feel like something is still lingering, it doesn’t mean you’ve failed. It means there’s one last layer asking to be seen, held, and released.
And once it’s gone, you are free to truly step forward.
With love,
Christine
